This game absolutely refused to install in an English Windows virtualization. I had to break out the wonderful Japanese Windows XP virtual machine, and mount the image in the newest version of DaemonTools (You know, the one with all the ads built in D: ) Once that was installed and up and running, the game installed smoothly.
